Now in its ninth year, the Harambee Festival is one of FAMU’s signature cultural events celebrating Black history, heritage and community connection. The word Harambee, a Swahili term meaning “all pull together,” reflects the spirit of collective responsibility and cultural pride that anchors the annual celebration.
