I’m Leslie, Your Festival Queen! 👸🏿

I’m the ultimate cultural fest fan and enjoy capturing the fusion of soul-stirring beats, flavorful foods and exquisite wines at festivals worldwide. When I was working in corporate sales, I’d take a 4-day weekend to go to festivals designed for Black culture and music to recharge as often as possible.

When working 50+ hours a week and raising Team Turn Up (my two sons), I wished there was one quick website to find festivals that interested me instead of Googling “Black music festivals” and scrolling through multiple sites to see what festivals were up next. I knew there were other people that wanted a simpler way to find the best Next Fests. Then, I figured I’d add a blog with festival news so I could put my journalism degree to good use!

A Vibe Called Fests was created to simplify the process of finding events curated for Black culture to vibe out or connect with other travel and music enthusiasts.
