Teruis "Juvenile" Gray was born in New Orleans and started writing professionally in his early teens. He is credited with being the first southern rapper to get national airplay with his seminal recording "Ha" and took over for the 99s and 2000s with the classic song "Back That Azz Up." More than 20 years later, he’s still rocking stages worldwide.
