The parade drops off at City Plaza, and the festival gets started. Like any good festival, there’s a variety of vendors selling everything from authentic curry goat to elephant ears and fresh shea butter to Kamala Harris 2024 shirts.

Last year was my first time attending Caribmask and the energy was infectious. I was born in Indiana, but felt right at home, enjoying every second of the parade, carnival, DJ sets and my first time at Jouvert. The parade costumes were amazing, the food was delicious and the music hit me in my soul!
