Will Made In America 2025 return to Philadelphia in 2025

Roots Picnic is a Good Alternative IF Made In America 2025 DOesn’t Happen

Organizers have announced that Made in America Festival isn’t happening in 2025 either. Made in America started in Philadelphia, PA in 2012 and over the years brought headliners including Bad Bunny, Tyler the Creator, Travis Scott, Cardi B and Nicki Minaj to the Philly area. The 2023 festival was cancelled about a month before the event and refunds had to be issued. This year, the website looks the same as last year but it’s possible the festival will happen.

In the meantime, if you still want to enjoy some fest vibes in Philly this summer, check out Roots Picnic which will be held May 31 and June 1 and 2 and has another amazing line up including D’Angelo performing for the first time in over 15 years; Cee-Lo Green with DC’s Backyard Band; a Black house music series with Rich Medina, Cece Peniston and Crystal Waters and so much more.

Last year was my first time attending Roots Picnic and I had a blast. I’m a super Questlove fan and everything that he touches is gold. This festival is no exception and the free Roots Con event on Friday is perfect for people that really enjoy the art of music.
